Baseball, it’s America’s pastime. However in the neighborhood of Ditmas Park this does not seem to be the case.
Of the 20 people surveyed an astounding 19 told The Examiner that they knew nothing about baseball. Considering that this survey was done while the World Series was in full swing it was odd to see that almost nobody knew about the sport.
There was, however, one interesting answer from Roberto Alvarez a server at, the Crtelyou Road pizzeria, San Remo. He said he was, “All in on the Red Sox” because he had placed two bets on them to go all the way to the world championship.
